Biography

As an Internet enthusiast, Victor Ndonnang has been actively involved in the field of Internet Governance since 2008 when he attended his first ICANN meeting in Paris, France. During that meeting, he realized that there was a very few number of ICANN Accredited Registrars in African and he started to look why and see what can be done for positive change. He has been working since to improve participation of developing countries in the technical development of the Internet and in the management of Internet critical resources. He is also interested by opportunities and challenges of the new Internet Protocol (IPv6) deployment by developing countries where the next billion Internet users will come from.
As an ICT Consultant, trainer and advisor, he has been working since 1997 to empower companies, governments and individuals in Cameroon thought the use of ICT in General and Internet in particular. His company, NV Consulting provides ICT solutions especially Networking Solutions, VoIP, Domain Names and Web Hosting to small businesses and individuals.
Victor Ndonnang has a professional certificate on Network and systems administration. He is an ICANN Fellow and an ISOC Next Generation Leaders since 2011. He speaks French and English and actually lives in Yaounde, Cameroon.
